The Accurates Story

 

Accurates was conceived in 2005 by John Webber and Philip Harrison, both senior directors at Colliers International. Having worked on many projects together, John and Philip developed Accurates with the aim of becoming the market leader in providing value added rating compliance services to the UK. Accurates has enjoyed tremendous success, with £millions in overcharged rates identified and returned to both existing and new clients.

 

As key part of the Rating Department at Colliers led by John Webber, Accurates has been developed as a distinct team which can deliver services as a standalone specialist market solution or part of the ‘complete circle of rating’. Available to new or existing rating clients, the suite of services can be provided as a one-off bespoke project or on an ongoing audit and compliance basis.

 

The Accurates team, led by Richard Sheppard, comprises former local authority revenues officers, qualified by the Institute of Revenues, Rating and Valuation, together with experienced data and systems analysts. The unique skill set and strong passion to deliver added value to client portfolios together with an ongoing desire to improve and widen the scope of services has resulted in a range of services available to clients today to reduce their business rates liability across their portfolio.
